Emily is Executive Director for Education Equals Hope, E=H, a 501c3 that is dedicated to providing education of children in desperate and difficult situations in the Americas and Africa empowering them to break the cycle of poverty, and impact the next generation. E=H also has a program in Quito where we support the education of young women who have been rescued from sex-trafficking and provide them with education so they can finish high school and teaching them how to make jewelry. Emily was also Founder and Executive Director of Galapagos ICE: Immerse Connect Evolve. Galapagos ICE was a 501c3 dedicated to improving education, health and conservation efforts in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. She was featured in Christian Science Monitor, which was about her work in the islands. Emily was also interviewed by the Dan Rather Reports about the challenges faced by local communities living in the islands.
