Our Purpose

We cannot get to the best possible outcomes for the totality of humanity without including the genius of women*.

While many efforts support women, few resources are available that explicitly support women addressing important social and environmental issues.

Pleiades does.

The term “women” includes cisgender women, transgender women, femme/feminine-identifying, genderqueer and nonbinary individuals, who have historically been excluded from the environmental space.

Our Impact

Pleiades Network grows a devoted network that reinforces the creative genius and goal-oriented work of women and genderqueer changemakers by connecting them with each other and with the skills, services, and community they need to apply their power and influence and meet their goals.

Pleiades is a mix of women who hold prominent positions in environmental and social leadership, across nonprofit and for-profit sectors, often bridging the two.

All of the work represented by our members is united by interconnected values:  economic equity, ecological regeneration, and personal commitment to systemic change.
